Weekly Alliance Duel

Day 5: Total Mobilization (Alliance Duel)

Weekly Alliance Duel

Overview: The fifth day of the Alliance Duel event, Total Mobilization, is a comprehensive stage that touches on all aspects of growth. During this day, virtually every action you take — from building upgrades to troop training — will earn points for your alliance. It’s a “catch-all” day where thorough preparation can lead to a massive score boost for you and your team.

Key Point-Scoring Tasks

Each of the following activities will grant points on Day 5. Plan to perform all of these to maximize your score:

Radar Missions: Completing radar missions yields a large chunk of points. Make sure to stack up missions from the previous day so you can finish and collect them during Total Mobilization. Each mission completed on Day 5 contributes significant event points, so save as many as possible and claim them once this day starts. (Tip: Don’t collect radar missions with a red dot on Day 4; wait until Day 5 after reset to claim them for points.)

Building Upgrades: Finalizing building upgrades and using construction speedups will earn points by increasing your base’s building power. Prepare upgrades in advance (upgrade buildings but do not “open” the completed upgrade) so that on Day 5 you can instantly claim them for points. Every power increase counts, so completing multiple pending building projects today can stack up a lot of score. Use any saved construction speed-ups to help finish those big upgrades right when the event day is active.

Research Projects: Completing research in your Technology Center and using research speedups also grant points by boosting your tech power. Start long research tasks before Day 5 and time them to finish on this day for maximum points. Just like buildings, the increase in tech power is only counted when you finish the research, so plan your research completions to occur during Total Mobilization. Don’t forget to use your research speed-ups to complete projects faster if needed, ensuring they conclude within the event window.

Troop Training: Training or upgrading troops is a major source of points on Total Mobilization. You get points for each soldier trained, with higher-tier units giving more points. A clever strategy is to train plenty of lower-tier troops beforehand, and then upgrade them to higher tiers on Day 5 – you will earn points based on the new tier of the troops. Also, use any training speed-ups today to rush troop training. By day 5, you should have your Barracks at a high level to unlock training of the strongest units; higher-level troops not only bolster your army but also yield maximal event points when trained.

Overlord Gorilla Items: (For advanced players who have unlocked the Overlord feature), special Overlord items can be used on Day 5 for enormous points. Items such as Bond Badges, Training Certificates, Guidebooks, and Overlord shards/skill badges all contribute to your score when used during Total Mobilization. If your alliance has reached the stage where these are available, save these items and spend them on Day 5. For example, using a Bond Badge or an Overlord Promotion Shard on this day can give a huge point boost (these are high-value actions), helping both your personal and alliance score greatly.

Preparation Before Day 5

Effective preparation in the days leading up to Total Mobilization is crucial. Here are some pre-event steps to ensure you hit the ground running on Day 5:

  • “Gift-Wrap” Your Upgrades: Initiate important building upgrades a day or two earlier, but do not complete them until Day 5 begins. Let the upgrades sit finished (often the game puts a “completed” package on the building) and only tap to finalize them during Total Mobilization. This way, the building power increase and its points count for Day 5. Similarly, start a long research project prior to Day 5 and aim to finish it during the event day for the points.

  • Stack Radar Missions: As mentioned, do not claim completed radar missions on Day 4. Allow your radar missions to accumulate (up to the radar storage limit) so that you have multiple missions ready to collect on the morning of Day 5. The moment Total Mobilization begins, execute and collect all stacked radar missions to grab a big chunk of points right away.

  • Train Troops in Advance: In the days before, train a surplus of troops (especially lower-tier ones). These act as “fodder” for upgrades. On Day 5, instead of training from scratch only, focus on upgrading existing troops to higher tiers — this yields points equivalent to the higher tier and is faster if you have the lower-tier troops ready. Also, if possible, upgrade your Barracks ahead of time so that by Day 5 you can train the next tier of units; unlocking a new troop tier means each unit gives more points when trained.

  • Stockpile Speedups: Resist the urge to use construction, research, or training speedups on earlier days (unless those days also reward them) so that you have a healthy stock for Day 5. Using speedups on Total Mobilization directly contributes points (per minute of speedup used) and helps complete those big upgrades and trainings on schedule. Gather construction, research, and training speed-up items and hold them for this day.

  • Resource Management: Ensure you have sufficient resources (food, iron, etc.) to carry out all the planned building upgrades, research projects, and troop training on Day 5. Nothing is worse than having a big upgrade ready but lacking resources to start or finish it. Plan your resource gathering on prior days so you won’t run dry when it’s crunch time.

  • Overlord Items Ready: If your alliance is far enough in progress, plan to save Overlord Gorilla resources (like badges and certificates) for Day 5. Do not use them on Day 4 or outside events. Having them ready to use during Total Mobilization can sometimes be the difference in hitting the top reward tiers.

Strategic Tips for Maximum Points

Employ these strategies during Total Mobilization to squeeze the most points out of the day:

  • Timing is Everything: Always wait for the server reset to officially start Day 5 (and remember that for a few minutes after reset, event points might not count). Don’t rush to finish tasks at 00:00 — give it a few minutes, confirm that the Total Mobilization phase is active, then begin completing tasks. This ensures every action counts and none of your effort is wasted during the no-count period right after reset.

  • Align with Arms Race: The Alliance Duel often runs alongside an Arms Race event. Day 5 tasks overlap with multiple Arms Race phases (City Development, Tech, and Unit training phases). If possible, coordinate your actions to coincide with those phases, so that each building upgrade or troop training not only scores for Alliance Duel but also for the Arms Race. This two-for-one strategy will maximize your rewards across events.

  • Use Duel Research Buffs: By Day 5, if you or your alliance have invested Valor Badges in Alliance Duel research (in the Research Center), you might have point multipliers for certain tasks. Take advantage of any such bonus effects (for example, research that increases points gained from building or training) to amplify your score. If such research is available, prioritize the tasks that give the most boosted points first.

  • Coordinate with Allies: Communication in your alliance is key. Encourage members to prepare their builds, research, and troops in advance just as you did. When Day 5 arrives, everyone should know it’s time to unload all those saved tasks. This collective push can often secure the alliance victory for the day. Also, stronger members can share advice or excess resources to help others complete their upgrades and training on time.

  • Don’t Waste Opportunities: Make sure you perform all point-yielding actions at least once. Even smaller tasks (like using a few speedups or completing one radar mission) contribute to personal reward thresholds and alliance ranking. It’s a day to do a bit of everything. Check the event task list in-game and ensure no category is completely ignored by the end of the day.

  • Stay Safe (for Day 6): Although combat isn’t part of Day 5, remember that Enemy Buster (Day 6) is coming next. While you’re focused on Total Mobilization, it’s wise to start thinking ahead: queue up as many troops as possible today (beyond what you need for points) so they’ll be ready for tomorrow’s battles, and remind everyone to be ready with shields by Day 6. In short, use Day 5 to not only score points but also to prepare your fighting forces for the final day.

Day 5 Highlight

Total Mobilization is the ultimate “all-hands-on-deck” day – every area of progress counts. With smart preparation and full alliance participation, Day 5 can yield enormous points, pushing your alliance closer to victory and unlocking a haul of rewards. Plan ahead, execute on all fronts, and watch your score soar!
